Install a Feeding Opening

Many dog owners miss the ability to easily reward their dogs with food while using a muzzle during training. Our feeding opening changes that!

Feeding Opening

• Removal of parts of the front bars of the muzzle
• Facilitates feeding or food intake
• Includes subsequent sealing of the cut edges with clear varnish
• The bar that, based on our experience, is best suited for feeding will be removed, or the areas you mark (e.g., by wrapping tape or paper around the desired sections).

Requirements for this Modification:

• The muzzle must be silver-colored and not coated (neither with black rubber nor any other material).

Warnings:

• Due to the high mechanical stress in these areas, we recommend powder coating the muzzle after the modification. This increases durability and effectively protects against rust in the worked areas. The durability of the clear varnish sealant may be limited.
• Because of the opening created, there is a risk that, in extreme cases, ears, fingers, or other objects could more easily pass through the muzzle. It is up to the owner to assess this risk.
